This afternoon, omniCONTESTS sent out an automatically-generated email about the contest. Some of you have been concerned about the categories listing the contest administrator instead of the correct winner’s name.

On our actual notes for the certificates and plaques, the names are right. This is just omniCONTESTS’ email notification, which does not record the names written on the custom field. We do have all the correct information, and we will be posting all names, including the finalists from the delayed judges, on Monday, Oct. 17.

Judges are going through the entries right now, so expect a list of the finalists in the Excellence in Journalism Competition mid-October. More information will be posted when available.

We will be at the Renaissance World Golf Village Resort and Convention Center, which is right next door to the World Golf Hall of Fame and the Southeast’s Largest IMAX 3D Digital Screen.
